The Fork Lift Motor is adequate for speeds under 50mph ADD a small pack of 16 Golf Cart Batteries or less.

If you want to load this truck up with Lead Acid batteries for long distance / high speed driving, this would require a 9" motor, (add $1,670, plus $311 shipping)
Other Options:
To add a controller... add $1,200 for Revolt 144/500 Controller, or add $1,999 for Soliton Jr
To add Lithiums with BMS and Charger for a 50 - 70 mile range: add: $11,500
to add Lead Batteries you would need at least 24 Golf Cart Batteries... and then 60 miles would require conservative driving add: Approx $2,800
you will also need a charger to match the batteries... add: $500 to $2,050
