JULY IN TEXAS... ? HOT HOT HOT !!

First Project... upgrade Golf Carts.

Customer's GOLF CARTS are getting a much needed UPDATE from Golf Cart Batteries to these new LITHIUMS. He went from 6 of the Golf Carts Batteries to 3 of the these 4 cell each packs... each cell is a 100ah cell and some New Mini BMS'... ( we sell these on our EV PARTS page).

Battery with BMS
These are 4 - 100ah Winstons. We put 3 of these 4 packs in each Golf Cart. along with Mini BMS' on each cell.

As you can see, size wise it would be possible to get twice as many in with a little modification. Two (2) of these cells, equals ( approx.). ONE GOLF BATTERY. Each cells weighs 7.5lbs reducing the weight from approx. 390lbs to a mere 90lbs. These are a very clean battery, with no acid, no liquids that can spill out and ruin your floor. No need to Add water. Manufacturer suggest 2000 to 4000 cycles.

We also put these in this customer's ZAP. we put in 6 of the 4 packs ! This ZAP has some range now !!

THEN we upgraded the customer's FORD RANGER with these packs !

ALL with Mini BMS' systems... We will be OFFERING FOR SALE these Mini BMS' systems.. watch for updates on the EV PARTS for SALE Tab.

YES... that is a TESLA S !!! And it IS pulling a trailer of old EV car parts.

Gary K is cleaning shop and getting ready for a "tour". Parts that he has been collecting to do the Lee Hart Sunrise project need a new home. After looking for someone to take over the project in the local Texas area and dead lines approaching Steve and I hopped in our customer's TESLA S, hooked the Farm Trailer on the back and drove 105 miles to San Antonio, TX to rescue these parts ( PLUS a few goodies to trail home to FLA for some of Steve's winter projects). This Tesla loaded in the back with tires and parts and pulling the Trailer full of a Rear End, Front end, plus 4 tires and drive shafts etc. took us a round trip of 210 miles on a charge, while we sat in Air Conditioned splendor both ways, complaining about the lack of bathroom facilities and no soda dispenser, at an average of 55 mph, using 75kw. We spent our time trying to find things to complain about. And one thing for sure, this was VERY difficult. But the lack of bathroom facilities DID require us to stop at a GAS station. You would think they could have at least come up with some way of relieving the driver, after all, it DOES have internet, and an entertainment system that rivals most home theaters. Of course the stylish leather interior and the handling made me think of some of the Porsche's I have driven.

and.............
OUR CUSTOMER USES his TESLA TO TAKE HIS FARM PRODUCE FROM FARM TO MARKET

SOLAR PANELS ANYONE???? These KITS.. are great !!
They are delivered with EVERYTHING you need... EVERY THING. Rails, nuts, bolts, panels, inverters, hardware... EVERY THING...!!!

Adding a "FRAME" for the PV Panels on the side of the Customer's barn.
By the time Steve leaves, this customer should have functioning:
1) 3 lithium golf carts
2) 1 lithium Ranger
3) 1 lithium Zap
4) 1 lithium Escort
5) the lithium Hyundai with working air conditioning Steve and I drove the Hyundai to College Station, 92 miles one way.. and the AC worked well.
6) 1kw of PV
7) a connection ready for my yet to arrive 15kw JuiceBox. The JuiceBox should allow the customer to charge the his Tesla at a full 10kw through a dedicated J1772.
